Bac Shield
EPA Reg# 81446-2, EPA Est# 081446-NC-002, CA EPA Reg # 81446-2-AA. Inhibits the growth of viruses, mold and bacteria, controls odor causing microbes.
This is a safe, bio degradable water base formulation that will inhibit the growth of viruses, bacteria, mold, mildew, fungi spores, and odor causing microbes on synthetic turf fields. Bac Shield reacts with the surfaces of microscopic bio-organisms forming a layer that prevents passage of nutrients the cell needs and punctures the cell walls which inhibits the growth of viruses, germs, mold, and bacteria.
Bac Shield is odorless, water-based, safe, non-toxic, naturally occurring molecule that forms an invisible anti-microbial shield inhibiting the growth of harmful and foul odor causing microbes, germs, bacteria, mold, fungi and viruses. It leaves no soap scum or residue, does not wash off and its efficacy is not reduced by leaching mechanisms, providing antimicrobial protection for a minimum of ninety (90) days. All surfaces must be cleaned, de-greased, and disinfected before application of Bac Shield using either the disinfectant BioCide 100 or Clean Room.
Bac Shield is available in pints, gallons, 5-gallon pails, and 330-gallon drums. Pints are available in multiples of 5.

Bac Shield is concentrated. Dilute 1 gallon of product with 4 gallons of water. 16 ounces will over 200 square feet, 1 gallon will cover 1500 square feet, 5 gallons will cover 7500 square feet. During application follow label instructions. Use pump up sprayer or ride on spray equipment. Apply a consistent uniform thickness spray pattern. Drying time as a water-based product is about 5 minutes under normal conditions when applied properly.
